Le st\u00e8re correspond \u00e0 1 m\u00b3 de bois coup\u00e9 en 1 m\u00e8tre de long. Si les longueurs de 1 m sont recoup\u00e9es en 50 cm, les vides seront mieux remplis et le volume du st\u00e8re ne sera plus que de 0,8 m\u00b3.
